There are two terms at BOKU: 

Winter term (semester 1 and 3): Week 40-8 (6,7,8 Semester holidays)
Summer term (semester 2 and 4): Week 9-27

Teaching schedule at SCIENCE

The teaching schedule at SCIENCE is divided into 4 blocks, each with a duration of 9 weeks:

Block 1: week 35 – week 44 (including one week of autumn vacation)
Block 2: week 46 – week 4 (including two weeks of Christmas vacation)
Block 3: week 6 – week 15 (including 1.5 week of Easter vacation)
Block 4: week 17 – week 25 Summer holiday is from week 27 – week 34.

A semester comprises two blocks.

Modules at UHOH are usually of 6 ECTS. Therefore, you have to take 5 modules per semester. The modules may be blocked or unblocked.
